PROJECT OUTCOMES

The project aims to achieve four key outcomes that will contribute to enhancing gender equality and preventing gender-based violence in universities of education in Vietnam.

  1. First, it will lead to improved safety levels for female staff, lecturers, and students at five universities by providing evidence-based solutions and empirical data on gender-based violence (GBV).
  2. Second, a comprehensive set of training materials will be developed, focusing on gender-related knowledge, gender equality, and skills to help prevent and respond to gender-based violence in academic settings.
  3. Third, female students across educational universities in Vietnam will undergo specialized training to enhance their understanding of gender, gender equality, and effective strategies to prevent and address violence.
  4. Finally, the project will generate policy recommendations for the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) and universities, advocating for the integration of gender equality education into training curricula.

These outcomes collectively support the long-term goal of creating safer and more inclusive higher education environments in Vietnam.
