The project includes seven key activities aimed at improving gender equality and preventing gender-based violence in pedagogical universities in Vietnam.
- First, a Survey and Risk Assessment will be conducted to collect empirical data on the current status of safety and violence against female lecturers and students, helping identify specific risks and mitigation strategies.
- Alongside this, a Communication campaign will raise awareness among students, lecturers, and staff on gender-related issues.
- Throughout the project, efforts will be made in Developing a Training Curriculum, which involves designing and embedding gender-sensitive training into pre-teachers’ bachelor’s programs.
- To assess the effectiveness of these materials, a Workshop will be organized to evaluate their impact.
- This will be followed by a Training phase, where students and lecturers at pedagogical universities will receive instruction based on the developed materials.
- Additionally, Seminars will be held to finalize and disseminate the complete training content.
- Finally, the project will facilitate Visits and Academic Exchanges between experts from the UK and Vietnam, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
These activities collectively contribute to creating a safer and more inclusive educational environment for women in Vietnam.
